WINSS 2016

The WALTHAM International Nutritional Sciences Symposium 2016 was held in Chicago, U.S.A, 18-21 October 2016.

WINSS is one of largest open international meetings dedicated to original research in pet nutrition. It combines plenary sessions from leading scientists, with oral and poster free communications. The symposium also provides networking opportunities to stimulate scientific exchange and collaboration.

This time the symposium theme was ‘Growing Science in Pet Nutrition’. The scientific programme included plenary sessions on nutrient requirements, study methodology with an emphasis on the 3Rs of replacement, reduction and refinement, plus growth and clinical nutrition. New for 2016 were the inclusion of workshops to help with career development.
